Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field and three years of related experience.  An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the requirements noted.  Grade EF Salary Minimum: $47,476. 

Preferred Qualifications
  • At least two years experience in developing social media content and printed advertising.
  • Effective oral, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with web design and web coding
Position Description

The Coordinator Marketing and Communications for the School of Music will implement and maintain the communications and marketing content for the School of Music. 

Essential Duties

  • Maintain, develop, and create content for School of Music website, social media platforms, webpages and print media including newsletters, publications and other platforms required by initiatives of the School of Music.
  • Serve as PR liaison between the unit and the University's Communications and Marketing Department.
  • Develop and produce promotional and recruitment brochures, concert and event posters, and other special items as needed.
  • Monitor analytics and create reports detailing the successes and failures of communications campaigns and strategies.
  • Design print advertising for mass media distribution.
  • Assist with development and implementation a communications strategy
  • Assist with event scheduling needs via R25live
  • Coordinate School of Music concerts and events with staff and faculty
