Work Schedule Summary
A hybrid remote/work schedule is possible and will be negotiated with supervisor. This position will require travel to local schools and other institutions and may require additional travel to various locations around the state. This position also requires occasional work on weekends.

Job Summary
The Program Coordinator plans and implements activities of the Teach for Utah/Noyce programs , ensuring goals and objectives are in accordance with established criteria. Interprets program policies and advises program participants on the application of regulations.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinates and attends program activities including recruiting events (including arranging K-12 School visits and University classroom visits).
  • Manages the program scholarship application process.
  • Coordinates Ambassador assignments and presentation development.
  • Coordinates Model Teacher assignments at secondary schools.
  • Coordinates Experiential Internship assignments with secondary schools, departments, museums, outreach organizations, and other programs.
  • Updates and oversees Scholar contracts.
  • Responsible for program related publications and promotional or educational materials, including marketing materials and website content.
  • Responds to student, teacher and faculty inquiries in a timely manner, researching additional information as needed.
  • Schedules meetings and reserves meeting space.
  • Responsible for the procurement of food, supplies and materials for meetings, events and trainings while adhering to program budgets and university policies.
  • Others duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus one year directly related experience or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience). Demonstrated ability to work independently, analyze and make decisions related to program content. Strong coordination and organizational skills required to prioritize conflicting deadlines. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are also required.
