Clinical Associates - Vascular Surgeons #SUR080A

The University of Chicago's Department of Surgery, Section of Vascular Surgery & Endovascular Therapy, seeks Clinical Associates at 100% effort for a renewable two-year term.  The appointees will contribute to patient care and join a vibrant and distinguished community of faculty colleagues and learners at UChicago Medicine, the Biological Sciences Division, the Pritzker School of Medicine, and the University of Chicago and its affiliates.  Practice at the Methodist Hospital is expected.

Clinical responsibilities will include a comprehensive vascular surgery clinical practice.  We especially welcome applicants with expertise in endovascular therapy.  The position does not require teaching or scholarly activity. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent on qualifications.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must:  1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, 3) be board certified or eligible by the American Board of Surgery (or equivalent), and 4) have completed an ACGME accredited fellowship and/or equivalent training in vascular surgery.
