Summary

The Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery in the Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) is seeking a cardiothoracic surgeon to join the cardiothoracic surgery program at the Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center, a major BCM hospital affiliate. Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center has a long-standing cardiothoracic surgery program with an emphasis on excellence in clinical care, education, and research.

 

Ideal candidates will have an established track record of clinical excellence in cardiothoracic surgery to perform the full spectrum of operations including coronary artery bypass grafting, valve surgery, aortic surgery, transcatheter procedures, and general thoracic surgery.  Candidates with a focus in thoracic oncology will be highly considered. Candidates should have a strong commitment to teaching medical students, surgery residents, and cardiothoracic surgery fellows. The ideal candidate will also develop innovative research in basic/translational or data sciences. 

 

ABTS board certification or board eligibility is required, and the candidate must qualify for a full and unrestricted Texas medical license.
