The Data Analytics Specialist is responsible to assist in data modeling, benchmarking, tracking, reporting and forecasting within all of the core functions of the OSU supply chain. The primary function of this position is to align created reports with existing Supply Chain strategies which, in turn, leverage cost, utilization, and quality data to provide actionable insights for improvement and optimization.
This individual is part of the supply chain analytics team, which demonstrates fluency in analytic tools and data resources, and coordinates efforts with other analytics groups throughout the health system. The Data Analytics Specialist has, at least, a basic knowledge of core supply chain functions that allows for collaboration with business, financial, clinical and supplier stakeholders. This role will assist in the creation of reliable reports and dashboards that identify opportunities, forecast needs, drive actions, and track results. This Analytics Specialist will be expected to learn, over time, to manage multiple projects, conduct robust analyses, and be able to present data to a wide variety of staff and leaders.
