About the Opportunity

Responsibilities:

The Budget and Operations Coordinator is an integral member of Khoury Finance team. Responsible for a variety of financial activities such as, but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, contract administration, requisitions, procurement, budget reporting, expenditure review, and reconciliation.

Serves as the main point person and subject matter expert on the Procure to Pay (P2P) and contract processes, including but not limited to navigating and managing the payment and contract processes from beginning to end, ensure compliance with university policies, communicating in a timely fashion throughout. Create systems to best track, file and record all contracts, invoices, and related documentation.

Create new budgets, generate, analyze monthly department reports to maintain expenditure controls.

In partnership with the Director, monitor and manage the contract renewal process for recurring vendors and services, document and communicate all procurement, payment and contract processed with division staff, and brainstorm and implement ways to improve processes across the division. Utilize effective customer service and communication skills, as the primary point of contact for members of the division, campus partners, and external vendors.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and 0-2 years professional experience required. Ability to prioritize work and multitask with ease and efficiency. Must be process-oriented and have the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Must be highly detailed-oriented, organized, and efficient. Must be proactive, take initiative, and demonstrate innovation and forward thinking. Must be a self-motivator and self-starter with the ability to work with minimal direction. Demonstrated ability to navigate and learn new systems. Must be able to keep information confidential. Customer service focused and comfortable interfacing with a diverse community. Proficiency in Banner Finance, Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite required.
