A full time Division Chief faculty position is available in the Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic, Burn, and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. 

 

Responsibilities in this position include duties as division chief at the associate or full professor level. Advance your career at a center with a vibrant Plastic, Burn, and Reconstruction practice in a well-respected, accredited residency training program. Our practice is broad in scope and part of a tertiary care center serving adult and pediatric populations. The Plastic, Burn, and Reconstructive Surgery group sees conditions related to cancer reconstruction, general reconstruction (to include wound care), hand and extremity trauma (in collaboration with Orthopedics), facial trauma, adult burns, gender affirmation (growing specialty), and cosmetic surgery. Affiliations include the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, both Level I trauma centers, and the Cincinnati Veteran’s Medical Center. Essential Functions

Duties will include responsibilities for the clinical, research and teaching activities for our students and residents.


Minimum Requirements
  • Medical Degree (MD) or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine (DO).
  • Eligible for licensure by the Ohio Medical Board.
  • Completion of residency in Plastic Surgery.
  • Certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
