Position Summary
The Associate Director of Recruiting - Professional Programs leads a recruitment team tasked with seeking top talent in various roles from rising leaders to senior executive management roles in order to drive pipeline for our Professional MBA programs. This position will demonstrate business acumen, be driven by sourcing top talent, and will be innovative in her/his thinking about ways to identify, attract and recruit prospective students. This role will apply business knowledge to inform and drive the short and long term talent acquisition strategies and priorities for the Professional Programs. It is expected they will demonstrate analytical capabilities and be able to influence with data-driven recommendations.
Takes a leadership role in managing the recruitment team’s execution of the counseling of students that are interested or in the process of applying. Will work in collaboration with Admissions team to provide training to recruitment staff on admission requirements and learning outcomes of the program. In charge of maintaining accurate data on how students are progressing through the admission cycle from prospect to enrollment for the entire portfolio as well as overall reporting trends.
The Associate Director of Professional Programs will be responsible for driving the continued success of the Professional Programs. They will need to provide regular updates on best practices in industry through networking, benchmarking, and will work across departments to drive innovation and program success.
Additional responsibilities focus on the oversight of program ambassadors and organization, planning, and execution of webinars and program information sessions.
Maintain job responsibilities and meet or exceed stated goals through on-going and dedicated performance of the following activities.


Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

General Responsibilities:

  • Leads recruitment staff in working with students that express interest in Olin Master's programs and works with the team to maintain effective communication with perspective students regarding graduate programs.
  • Supervises, hires, trains and evaluates recruitment staff and works with recruiters to develop customer focused skills, provides feedback on ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness corrects any deficiencies and recommends and implements corrective action as necessary.
  • Provides professional development and training to assigned staff on a regular and consistent basis.
  • Responsible for helping the team recruit and yield newly admitted students and meeting enrollment goals or the portfolio.
  • Works with the recruitment team and the admission team to ensure that all applicants are handled appropriately, efficiently and timely throughout the admission cycle.
  • Responsible for recruitment ravel travel strategy, budgeting, training, assignments, follow up, and other data points related to travel.
  • Supervises and manages the development , execution of the Recruitment Roadmaps, and contributes to the New Admit plans for the portfolio. Participates in strategy development as part of the admission and recruitment team.
  • Nurtures relationship between Recruiters, Student Services, Career Services and Marketing Teams to disseminate information on progress to goal for the portfolio and encourage best practices across all programs.
  • Participates in planning, process mapping and developing department budget.

Marketing Events & Recruitment:

Collaborate with team to identify, target and source a growing base of alumni who will assist with recruitment initiatives and identify alumni that may have talent in their organization that are ready for advanced education.

  • Actively manage relationships with alumni in order to accomplish objectives.
  • Create regular reports, updates and meeting with other internal stakeholders to help drive collaborative efforts.
  • Plan and attend alumni-specific events in coordination with internal partners.
  • Plan and attend admissions-specific events. Assist with the organization and execution of admissions events.
  • Must be willing to travel as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create and maintain a robust portfolio of activities and events to keep alumni highly engaged and to advance the continued development of our alumni.

Reporting, Computer & Technical Expertise:

  • Queries and generates reports on recruitment and yield activities; analyzes and interprets statistics and data to determine pace and predict resource needs to meet short and long-term enrollment goals.
  • Manages 1:1 Meeting process for staff and prospects utilizing technology provided.
  • Identifies and evaluates efficiencies of systems/process and makes recommendations and suggested enhancements to its functionality.
  • Establish and maintain facility with computer operating systems pertaining to general inquiries, admission, and financial aid for purposes of efficient and concise record keeping and generation of communication and reports.
  • Establish expertise in University systems, CRM, Application and other computer operating systems and software as needed.
  • Reporting functions to include: verifying tour lead excel lists with CRM, quality control checks with teams to ensure proper follow up with leads/prospects for all events, monthly updates on how prospects and applicants are progressing thru the admission cycle and notifying management of any trends. Regular updates on progress to goal from Prospect to Enrolled stage.
  • In charge of collaborating with team on End of Cycle Clean up, Program Audits, and Final Program Data.
     

Special Projects:

  • Engage in special projects and strategic initiatives related to the Professional Programs.
  • Partner with Olin senior faculty and senior leadership on the delivery of special projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA/EMBA degree.
  • Business education.
  • Previous university and corporates experience helpful.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • Five years of relevant work experience.

Salary Range
$55,600.00 - $94,900.00 / Annually

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
