The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Department of Surgery is accepting applications for a full-time, non-tenure track Assistant Professor and Surgeon to join the Trauma/Surgical Critical Care Division. Responsibilities include covering surgical critical care and emergency general surgery, staffing a resident clinic and providing other didactic educational services to medical students, residents, and fellows, particularly in the clinic setting. Clinical research opportunities are abundant. There is also an opportunity to develop a basic research for the qualified candidate. Applicant must demonstrate a commitment to teaching and academics.
