Boston University School of Theology invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor.

• Serve as Assistant Professor of Theology.
• Teach 4 courses per year as part of the master’s and doctoral programs of the School of Theology.
• Serve as advisor for master’s students.
• Serve on STH faculty committees.
• Teach courses in comparative religious ethics, sexual ethics and queer theology, and other general courses in ethics such as Christian ethics and Social Justice. 
• Build the strength of STH doctoral programs, including serving as advisor for PhD and DMin students and mentoring students across the PhD program.
• Conduct research for publication. 

Requirements:

• PhD in Theology, PhD in Religion, ThD or equivalent.
• Must have research capability as demonstrated by at least one publication in a peer reviewed journal. 
• Must have commitment to cultural competency as demonstrated through past teaching, research, professional activities, or knowledge expressed in a personal diversity or teaching statement.
