Job Summary | Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA seeks to fill a full-time 9-month academic appointment to serve as Assistant Professor and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program Director in the Department of Nursing. There is also administrative work undertaken during the summer months for which a stipend will be provided. The department is looking for candidates to provide engaged leadership in the day-to-day operations of the campus-based BSN program. The successful candidate will hold a tenure-track appointment in the Department of Nursing and will also be appointed as BSN Program Director for a 3-year period, with an annual review, as well as eligibility to be reappointed as the Program Director for an additional 3-year period. The BSN program is a campus-based program offered during fall and spring semesters. The successful candidate will be an experienced nurse educator and administrator- with the ability to build collaborative relationships, with demonstrated competence in teaching and scholarship, curriculum development, program evaluation, and leadership. Mentorship is available. If hired, the candidate must be willing to relocate to the Spokane area. |
