The Rossier Advancement team seeks a full-time team member for the Manager of Advancement Operations and Stewardship position. The position will report to the Associate Dean for Advancement. The position's primary role is managing core department operations, including gift processing and reconciliation, donor stewardship, and data requests and integrity. This position also supports corporate foundation relations and advancement communications and serves as a liaison with the USC Rossier Business Office, USC Annual Giving, and USC Central Advancement.

The ideal candidate has experience effectively managing donor/prospect databases, possesses analytical skills, is organized, can multitask, and has strong interpersonal skills. Expertise in Windows operating environment, Word, and Excel is required. The person holding this position must be detail-oriented, have strong verbal and written communication skills, utilize databases and communication platforms, multitask effectively, deal with confidential information, and have excellent organizational skills. The candidate must possess a cooperative and team-oriented attitude and demonstrate sound judgment and decision-making skills. Occasional evening and weekend travel is expected.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and managing various administrative and financial reports for the development officers and department directors, including the team's progress to goal report, the Academy leadership giving society reports, membership lists, mailing and e-mail lists, annual giving progress, and other reports as assigned.

  • Managing gift and grant processing and reconciliation

  • Managing donor stewardship, including acknowledgments and donor honor roll

  • Updating and maintaining USC Rossier's donor files and database

  • Assisting in coordinating solicitations with the Central USC Annual Giving team

  • Assisting with the planning and execution of donor-related stewardship events

Preferred Experience:

  • Three years of administrative office experience, including research and customer service;

  • Background in development  and alumni relations;

The hourly pay range for this position is $33.00-$36.00.
