Here is a Glimpse of the Job

As the Administrative Coordinator II, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, analyzing, verifying and reporting the University's course inventory. You’ll serve as the administrative contact for course submissions using the Curricular Approval Request System (CARS) and provide support to users of the system. A good eye for detail is needed as you review and examine course proposals submitted through CARS for approval. Working with academic advisors and department staff you will collaborate to resolve course inventory discrepancies. Your excellent communication skills allow you to actively monitor and succinctly respond to individual and group email accounts. Your ability to exercise independent judgement and communicate clearly in a dynamic and high-volume environment are important assets for you to excel in this position.

The Department

The Office of the Registrar has the primary responsibility of maintaining academic records of all current and former students. The Office of the Registrar has two priority goals: to maintain a high quality of service to all who come into contact with the office and maintain and protect the academic integrity of the student record in accordance with University, state and federal guidelines. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Three years of office administration experience

A well-qualified candidate would have experience with a student information system such as Banner (or similar program) and experience working in higher education
