About the Opportunity

The Administrative Coordinator - Faculty Services Coordinator at Northeastern University School of Law provides support for an assigned set of faculty as well as walk-in service on rotation with the rest of the Faculty Services Team (FST). The FST supports faculty members with but not limited to teaching, letters of recommendation for student success, assisting with reimbursements and reconciling University AMEX statements, hiring student workers and processing weekly time-sheets, and managing on-ground support for office and breakroom supplies. The FST also supports the part-time faculty from syllabi to evaluations and managing access to the part-time faculty shared offices.

This is a fast-paced role with a lot of variety in daily expectations and change in terms of policies, software solutions, types of requests, and programmatic changes. This position is expected to be in the office 2-4 days per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting assigned faculty members and part-time faculty
  • Supporting walk-in requests
  • Partake in professional development trainings with the FST Team

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in supporting faculty, lawyers or similar professionals
  • Solid office admin skills including common software tools like Microsoft Office
  • Supporting assigned faculty members and part-time faculty; keen attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing demands in a face paced environment
  • Ability to navigate nuances and changes to policies and programmatic changes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a law setting and/or higher education
