Administrative Assistant I-Facilities Management

Location: Omaha, NEBRASKA

This position will support the Facilities Management Team and processes. This is an entry level position and will perform clerical, administrative, and general office duties of a responsible and confidential nature to include typing, record & file maintenance, mail distribution, and telephone reception. Organizes and maintains files and correspondence, follows up on pending matters. Requires strong customer service skills to answers routine questions, dispatches calls to appropriate departments and furnishes information to callers and visitors. Schedules appointments and coordinates arrangements for meetings. Prepares standard reports, gathers and summarizes data. Operates a personal computer and appropriate software. Resolves basic questions and problems independently and refers more complex issues to higher levels.


This role is Monday to Friday; 8:15am-4:45pm; must be flexible to fill in on occasion for other staff members at 7am.
This position will close on 11/30/2020.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required;
2 years' administrative and/or office experience;
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures/processes;
Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written);
Customer service focus including the ability to assess inquiries and provide appropriate information or resolution using judgment and available resources, and proven ability to maintain confidentiality;
Ability to coordinate and prioritize work with multiple and conflicting demands in a deadline-oriented environment;
Ability to be collaborative and work in a team environment;
Demonstrate Professionalism;
Must be dependable/accountable
