Position Details:

Summary of Duties:

Performs administrative, fiscal and graphic design work for the county director and provides office support to the county director; estimating, developing, and monitoring budgets from a variety of sources, including contracts, county government, conferences and contributions; training, graphic design and publishing, and organizing and directing part-time or full-time clerical staff and volunteers.


Required Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration or closely allied field. 
Clerical or office work experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis, provided at least one year included experience at the Clerk 3 level or above.

  • Must have, or able to obtain, a valid driver’s license by time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise with computer applications including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Microsoft Outlook.

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Experience with brochure and display design; print and online mediums; writing and editing skill; artistic/aesthetic eye towards design and layout.

  • Positive community service experience.

Monthly Salary - Prorated to 50% FTE:

Range 35, $1,503.00 - $1,987.00 (Steps A - M)

Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28 .
