Job Description 

The Department of History, Sociology, Geography and GIS at Tarleton State University seeks to hire an adjunct in GIS. We are looking for masters and doctoral-qualified candidates to teach undergraduate courses in GIS. Interested candidates must have a Ph.D. or MA in hand in the field of Geography/GIS or a related field with at least 18 graduate hours in Geography/GIS. 

Salary: Commensurate with Qualifications and Course Level 

Required Education/Experience: Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree in the discipline or a closely related area and a minimum of 18 graduate hours in the discipline. 

Preferred Education/Experience: Prior experience teaching GIS at the collegiate level is desired.
