Job Description

Part-time faculty at the SAN ANTONIO campus for the Fall 2024 semester. The successful candidate will teach one 3000-level course on Early Modern Europe to 1815.  Applicants will be contacted according to departmental needs. Teaching assignments are in face-to-face or hybrid format and may include day or night classes.

Salary: $3000/course

Required Education and Experience :

• Master’s degree in History, or a related field, from a regionally accredited institution.

• 18 completed graduate course hours in European History, or a related field.

• Experience with teaching undergraduate History classes.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Experience teaching online/hybrid courses

• Experience working with non-traditional, first-generation students.

• Experience working with all students from different backgrounds and settings.

• Completed Ph.D. in History.

If transcripts are from an international institution, it is the responsibility of the prospective faculty member to have the transcripts translated and evaluated by an approved credential evaluator.
