CSU Health Network
The CSU Health Network (CSUHN) at Colorado State University provides a full range of cost-effective mental health and primary care medical services on campus, referral for community specialty care, and comprehensive health education and prevention services programming. Services such as physical therapy, dentistry, and optometry are available. The CSU Health Network is active in creating a healthy campus environment to support learning and success. Accounting Services The CSU Health Network Accounting Services department maintains and improves the processes that protect the financial integrity of Colorado State University Health Network. The department provides accounting, purchasing, travel, and inventory control support to departments within the Health Network; monitors transaction flow to assure compliance with Federal, State, and University laws, regulation, and policies; analyzes and interprets financial data as part of the overall control of University fiscal goals and concerns; and formulates financial statements and reports in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. The Accounting department provides services between the hours of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday-Friday, providing attractive work schedules for staff.
Position Summary
The function of the Accounting Tech III at the CSU Health Network is to serve as a support unit providing accounting and procurement support to departments housed within the CSU Health Network. The Accounting Tech III works with all departments in the Health Network to provide comprehensive accounting, to include accounts payable, procurement, travel, and inventory management oversight.
The Accounting Tech III is generally scheduled to work in person from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday.
This position reports directly to the Manager of Accounting Services; this position is benefits eligible.
Minimum Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must demonstrate:
  • Three full-time years of technical accounting experience.
Substitutions
Three years of bookkeeping or technical accounting experience other than that listed may substitute for the required experience. Two years of college, university or non-correspondence business school which included eighteen (18) semester credit hours of accounting can substitute for up to two years of the required experience. Please note: to qualify for this substitution based on education, a transcript MUST be attached and submitted at the time of application.

  • Experience with Pharmacy medication reimbursement processes
  • Experience working with Inventory Management / Electronic Inventory System and processes
  • Experience as a customer service representative with the ability to help our internal customers with complaints and questions
  • Directly related state service experience
