Your personal sphere of play:

Your future position is at the Department of Sport und Movement Science, Division of Sport Psychology. The research group focuses on psychological interventions for performance under pressure, promotion of physical activity behavior and its benefits, and transfer of sport pyschological knowledge to other industries (e.g., music, the performing arts, healthcare). We prefer expermimental work, both in lab and the field, and the use of physiological and behavioral measurements. 

Duration of employment:  for the duration of the position holder's absence 

Your future tasks:

Active participation in research, teaching, and administration, which means: 

  • You are involved in research projects and scientific studies of the research group.
  • You publish internationally and give lectures.
  • You apply for projects and raise third-party funds.
  • You hold courses independently in Sport Psychology (teaching load: 4 SWS)
  • You supervise student theses
  • You participate in evaluation measures and in quality assurance.
  • You take on administrative tasks in research, teaching, and administration.

This is part of your personality:

  • Degree in psychology, sports science, health science or a comparable subject with a relevant doctorate.
  • Research and teaching experience in the field of sport psychology, social psychology or motivational psychology
  • Excellent knowledge of quantitative and experimental research methods
  • High level of statistical knowledge and knowledge of statistical software (e.g. SPSS, R)
  • Publications in renowned, relevant media (peer-reviewed with impact factor)
  • Experience with scientific lecturing internationally
  • Experience in the acquisition of third-party funding
  • Social competence and ability to integrate into the sports psychology team
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Experience in student support
  • Knowledge of university processes and structures

Fair salary: The basic salary of EUR 4351,90 increases if we can credit professional experience.
