The College of Design, Creative and Digital Industries (DCDI) at the University of Westminster is seeking an experienced technical professional to lead our technical teams across multiple disciplines. In the landscape of Media, Arts, Design, Architecture, and Technology, our college has emerged as a leader of innovation and academic excellence. The role:
As the Technical Manager, you will direct the daily activities of our defined technical teams. Collaborating closely with the Head Technician, you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight, ensuring the enhancement of student experiences, teaching quality, research depth, and the impact of knowledge exchange initiatives.
Your Impact:
You will guide multi-disciplinary technical teams to support the college's activities, ensuring service excellence and customer satisfaction. Your influence will be key in leading strategic planning in technical services, aligning with the college’s progressive mission. You will engage with a diverse group of stakeholders, fostering a culture of innovation, safety, and sustainability. Additionally, you will administer budgets, advocating for resource efficiency and technological advancements.
