Teaching Fellow in Digital Cultures
Salary Details: £32,958 to £ 39,324 per annum
Allowances: plus £2,623 London Allowance

The Department of Digital Humanities is seeking to appoint up to two Teaching Fellows in Digital Cultures to contribute to teaching across our Digital Culture degrees including the MA Digital Culture and Society and the BA Digital Culture. Candidates will be required to teach on modules such as: Digital Foundations (BA), Theories of New Media (BA), Contemporary Trends in Digital Theory (BA), Introduction to Digital Culture and Society (MA), Mobility, Culture, and Digital Media (MA), and others as required. The post holder will have a sound knowledge of the key concepts, theories, debates and challenges in digital media and cultural studies, with experience of teaching both theory and practice.
The post holder will make a significant contribution to organising, delivering, and administering research-informed teaching to the highest professional standards at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including designing learning materials, convening modules, lecturing, seminar teaching, and providing formative and summative feedback. Post holders will supervise dissertations at all levels, and undertake examining as required. Successful candidates will also undertake pastoral and administrative duties, including personal tutoring and contribution to Departmental, Faculty and University administration.
