We are looking for an experienced data analyst to support the production of analysis and intelligence to provide the necessary modelling, forecasting and reporting of key resources (e.g. student numbers, financial income, space).
As Senior Resource Planning Analyst, you will be based within the Modelling, Analysis and Resource Planning team but will work closely with colleagues from across the university. The immediate team is relatively small but supportive and enthusiastic and you can expect to be provided with some training and mentoring.
We’re looking for an individual with a strong background in the analysis and reporting of data, and with an ability to effectively communicate findings to a range of stakeholders. Experience of using Alteryx or similar tools would be advantageous.
The role is permanent and full-time (although part-time at no less than 0.8 FTE would be considered).
Flexible working: we support work-life balance for all staff. The Team is based in our recently refurbished offices on our vibrant Headington Campus. The agile workspace is designed to offer various styles of working, such as collaborative spaces, hybrid meeting spaces, individual workstations and a more relaxed setting of comfy sofas. The team combine working in the office with regular working from home.
You will also enjoy the benefits of working at Oxford Brookes University with up to 38 days holiday, rising to 41 days holiday (this includes 13 Bank Holidays and Concessionary Days), a generous Local Government pension scheme (19.2% Employer contribution rate), cycle to work scheme and access to a variety of university facilities (Brookes Nursery, Gym and sports facilities). For more information about benefits please see the document 'All about Brookes' below.
As part of the application process all applicants are required to complete our online application form by clicking on the “Apply for Job” button on the Oxford Brookes vacancy page. You will be routed to this when you click on the above “Apply” button. All parts of the application form should be completed and in the section of the form called “Supporting Documents”, applicants must upload their CV and a Personal Statement. To complete the Personal Statement part of the application, applicants must download the Personal Statement document and complete the form, providing examples and explaining how they meet each item detailed on the document. The Personal Statement must then be uploaded to the application form along with the CV.
At Oxford Brookes, inclusivity is one of our five guiding principles: we take positive steps to create an environment in which we celebrate, value and provide equal opportunity to all. We are committed to recruiting from the widest possible pool and welcome applications from all suitably qualified candidates who embrace our values, regardless of their background.
As a Disability Confident Employer, we guarantee to interview any disabled applicant who meets the essential selection criteria.
This role may not attract sufficient points to obtain a sponsored Skilled Worker visa under the points-based immigration system, however applications are welcome from candidates who don’t currently have the right to work in the UK, but who would be eligible to obtain a visa via another route.
