We have an exciting opportunity for a full time, permanent Nursery Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team working in both the baby room and 2-5’s rooms.  We are looking for someone with an enthusiasm for providing a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment and a creative approach for supporting the Nursery Nurses in delivering an exciting and inspiring curriculum from which the children can flourish and thrive. We would like someone with a passion for their work that it is evident on the faces of the children and in the minds of their parents.

The successful candidate must have experience of working with children under 5 years old.

You will be:

-   assisting the nursery nurses with the care and supervision of the children

-   assisting with the preparation and provision of suitable activities

-   attending to the physical, social and emotional needs of the children, working in partnership with parents to ensure that each child reaches their potential

-   participating in on-going training.

You should have:

-   experience of working with children aged 4 months to 5 years

-   a good standard of written and spoken English

-   good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team

-   a commitment to working in partnership with parents to provide a high standard of childcare.
