We are looking for a professional and conscientious individual to join the Finance team within Oxford Brookes Business School. As Finance Officer you will be responsible for carrying out the financial duties of the Business School in accordance with Faculty and University procedures and policies.

This a part time, 0.8FTE, fixed term post for 12 months.

Applications are invited from individuals with experience in a similar role, and looking to further their skills in this field of work. This role will include a range of financial duties to include project administration, individual budget monitoring and analysis, forecasting, supporting the financial year end process, as well as carrying out the general day-to-day financial administration tasks.

You will be an excellent communicator with first class interpersonal skills, and as a team player, you will have an enthusiastic and positive approach to work. You will have proven organisational and communication skills, with a high level of competency with IT especially Excel spreadsheets, and the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands.

This role will not attract sufficient points to obtain a sponsored Skilled Worker visa under the points-based immigration system, and will be dependent on the candidate meeting criteria to rely on tradeable points.
