£43,414 to £51,805 per annum depending on level applied for/appointed.
This position will be based at the Singleton Campus

We are seeking a Senior Lecturer in Organic Chemistry, in the Department of Chemistry as part of the newly formed Faculty of Science and Engineering, led by Professor David Smith, Executive Dean and Professor Johann Sienz, Deputy Executive Dean. The role will contribute to the expansion of teaching, cross-disciplinary research and industrial engagement in Organic and Medicinal Chemistry, but candidates in all areas of organic chemistry are encouraged to apply. The postholder will have expertise and a growing research portfolio in one or more of these research areas: organic chemistry, synthetic organic methodology, drug design and synthesis, natural products biosynthesis, enzymology/protein biochemistry, medicinal / pharmaceutical chemistry, polymer synthesis
