Description

Identify potential project opportunities, engage other key stakeholders to develop new account opportunities;

  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling;
  • Build client relationship with buyers and key influencers to secure business award;
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Develop and manage relationships with our key partners and customers
  • Collaborate with the line manager on business development proposals;
  • Evaluate Requests for Proposal and other prospects;
  • Contribute to Sales strategies - Develop effective and specific account plans to ensure revenue target delivery and sustainable growth;
  • Assess Customer Acumen - Actively understand each account's technology footprint, strategic growth plans, technology strategy and competitive landscape;
  • Conduct high level negotiations relevant teams to achieve desired results and meet customer’s needs
  • Drive new account/customer development to meet periodical sales goals planning
  • Consult with product users on information needs, analysis of data, generation of reports
  • Analyze the flow of information through systems and recommend necessary systems or product change for improvement
  • Develop and actively pursue list of targeted Key Accounts and create individual plans of action to penetrate these accounts
  • Accurately forecast sales prospects according to product, time-line, and value
  • Set goals for annual revenue achievement against each prospective account
  • Work with the relevant teams, Client Services and Technology teams to ensure complete customer satisfaction with the product and organization
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
    • Adhere to the University's information security and confidentiality policies and procedures, and report breaches or other security risks accordingly
    • Coordinate with other departments to facilitate the accomplishment of tasks and responsibilities, as and when needed
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the Line Manager.

Qualifications

  • A  Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing. Administration, Computer Science or any other related field.
