Position Summary

The Senior Coordinator, Events and Engagement is responsible for coordinating all online and offline recruitment and engagement events of Student Recruitment department specifically designed to raise awareness for RMIT University Vietnam and engage with prospective students, parents and stakeholders. The role oversees leading content strategy for all engagement events including sales event, high school engagement and customer engagement events, making sure of consistent promotional content with sales strategy as well as constant creativity to attract target audience to RMIT. More importantly, the role is the leader of Student Ambassadors Team, responsible for building a strong volunteer group and inspiring them to stay engaged and active with our events as well as confidently share their love to RMIT to the prospective.

Direct reports:                  Event and Engagement Coordinator




Key Accountabilities

  • Lead to plan and execute all recruitment events (Information Day, Experience Day, Application Day, other customer service events) for English, Foundation, undergraduate, postgraduate programs in Hanoi campus and Northern provinces
  • Lead event strategy including communication, content, human resources, for sales events, high school engagement events, and customer engagement events, to meet the demand of different target groups, ensure high conversion rate and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead to build a vibrant and dedicated Student Ambassador Team (SAT) together with a strong policy and attractive annual engagement and recognition initiatives.
  • Monitor expenses and recording of SAT participation & loyalty on CRM system
  • Manage the performance of direct reports and provide appropriate training and support regularly 
  • Produce reports for events and engagement outcomes; provide visuals and insights to management to improve event quality constantly  


Key Selection Criteria

  • Bachelor level in Marketing, Communications or related
  • At least 5 years’ experience in large event management. Previous experience in youth training or leadership camp is preferred.
  • Demonstrated high level communication skills, strategic thinking, a habit to reflect, a growth mindset that brings creativity at work.
  • Well-developed and demonstrable strong interpersonal skills, including flexible negotiation, liaison, and cross-cultural communication specifically related to excellent customer service and sales functions.
  • Familiar with using CRM system for data recording, activities management and reporting; have high level of attention to detail and accuracy when inputting, managing, and communicating information.
