We welcome applications for this exciting new Research Fellow post from passionate, prospective candidates to join our team to contribute to projects in the areas of aircraft cabin systems, including cabin air quality.
About the Role
The purpose of this post is to support and deliver to an industry funded project titled Aviation Biosafety Sensing System. You will be responsible for undertaking high quality research associated with the Cranfield University project work package in cabin system integration and certification, and aircraft fleet level bio-threat impact analysis. You will be responsible for managing the research tasks, organising project meetings, writing project deliverables and coordinating research activities and will need excellent interpersonal skills.
About You
You will most likely be educated to doctoral level in an aerospace / relevant subject and have experience of aircraft systems research including in analytical methods. As an alternative to holding a PhD, you will have significant and equivalent relevant experience. With excellent communication skills, you will have expertise in cabin systems and a background in cabin air systems would be an advantage. You will be confident in communicating with external partners professionally and skilled in project management and report writing.
