Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a passion for medical research to assist in the development of a novel transcatheter tricuspid valve replacement (TTVR) system. This position requires experiences in experimental biofluid mechanics.

The candidate will work with a team of expert advisors to design and build a mock loop to simulate the right heart with various pathophysiological conditions. The experiment setup will help us understand dynamic interaction between the blood and valve leaflets, yielding more precise and accurate insights. Our team strives to optimize and further fine tune the design features of the novel TTVR system.

Qualifications

  • PhD in Mechanical Engineering/Biomedical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience and expertise in experimental fluid mechanical study and setting up of physiological flow loop to investigate various part of human body blood flow.
