We are seeking to recruit a Research Fellow who will be involved in the development of tools, training of national teams, piloting of tools and inductive revision as required for the Process Evaluation of Perennial Malaria Chemoprevention in Benin, Cameroon, and Cote d’Ivoire as part of the Plus Project. The Research Fellow will have ongoing communications with national teams to ensure quality and efficiency of data collection and will also lead coding and analysis of qualitative data and contribute to dissemination outputs, together with national teams. 

The successful applicant will have a postgraduate degree in the field of in public health, social science, epidemiology, or a similar relevant field. They will also have the ability to work (read, write, speak, understand) in both French and English, proven research experience on the delivery of malaria control interventions, experience with coding and analysis of qualitative data, experience of using realist evaluation approaches, and proven ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively as part of a research team. The post is funded until 31 July 2025 and is part-time 24.5 hours per week (0.7 FTE). The post is funded by Unitaid and is available from 1 February 2024. The salary will be on the Academic Grade 6 scale in the range £43,947 - £49,908 per annum pro rata (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Wellbeing Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London.
