NIDUS-Family Implementation Research Assistant

About the Role

An exciting opportunity to work on the New Interventions for Independence in Dementia Study (NIDUS)-Implementation Study.

The NIDUS-Family Implementation Study aims to use realist methods and implementation theoretical frameworks to explore how to diffuse NIDUS-family into practice across NHS, social care and third sector services in England. We will also work closely with the Bengali community in east London to adapt the intervention culturally and linguistically. You will work in a team within the Unit of Psychological Medicine and have close links to the NIHR DeNPRU.

About You

The post holder is responsible for providing research support to the NIDUS-Family Implementation study, including organisation of meetings, liaising with study sites and study advisors, assisting with training facilitators, delivering the support intervention to family carers and people with dementia, conducting qualitative interviews, administrative support to key senior staff maintaining databases, research outputs, maintaining the NIDUS webpages and day to day administrative management. We will provide you with strong and enthusiastic support to develop your career in research or professional services.

The post is based at the Whitechapel Campus in London. It is full time, fixed term appointment for 2.5 years, with an expected start date of 1.6.2024. The starting salary will be in the range of £36,572- £ 37,182 per annum (pro-rata), inclusive of London Allowance.
