Applications are invited for appointment as Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref.: 524393), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in social work, gerontology, psychology, or a related discipline, with relevant post-doctoral experience in conducting and managing mental health research projects. They should demonstrate strong competency in research design, project management, data analysis and have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese. Preference will be given to applicants with expertise in the application of HRV (heart rate variability) in mental health research, high EE (expressed emotions) in schizophrenia and blended mode intervention modality.

The appointee will be responsible for leadership within research team in mental health, assisting the Principal Investigator in publication, writing grant proposals and reports, overseeing project implementation and data analysis, supervising research staff. There will be opportunities for participation in teaching programmes.
