Salary
£19209 to £22254 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Applications are invited for the post of Research Administrator, within Stroke, AU1 Mental Health & Clinical Neuroscience. You will be based at the QMC Nottingham University Hospitals and will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team coordinating multi-centre UK and international stroke trials. 

You will be a highly motivated and personable individual, who works well as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, as well as using your own initiative. The successful candidate will support the stroke trials team to set up new trials and close down completed trials. Support will include processing trial payments, maintenance of trial information in the databases and trial files. Your role will also entail general administration, minute taking, arranging face to face meetings, teleconferences, investigator meetings, conference attendance, and national/international travel bookings.

As the successful candidate, you will have five GCSE’s or equivalent, including Maths and English or a Vocational qualification (NVQ2 Administration with Secretarial Skills) or equivalent. You should also have experience of working in an office/administrative environment, previous research experience, experience of working with databases and broad administrative and secretarial experience.

We have two roles available. Both roles are available on fixed term contracts until 30/04/2025. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours) ; however applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 18 hours per week).
