We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Fellow within Aston University’s Professional Engineering Centre (APEC) to support programme delivery in the area of Transport Planning.   The successful candidate will also act as professional supervisor for a number of apprentices, engaging directly with learners and their line manager to support professional development.

Applicants should be able to evidence relevant industrial experience and ideally have experience of teaching on work-based learning programmes. They should have a track record of successful engagement with employers. 

A first degree in an engineering discipline, and a postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline or chartered status as a professional engineer / professional manager will be required.  We would also expect applicants to hold a formal teaching or coaching qualification such as a PGCHE and / or have achieved Fellow status of Advance HE, or be willing to achieve this once in post.
