UWE Bristol has an excellent opportunity for you to kick start a career in Project Management. 

You will be provided with training and mentoring in project delivery and the chance to work with a team of around 170 professionals who deliver key services to UWE Bristol, ranging from network management, systems development, technical support, enterprise architecture, cyber security, project delivery. 

Working across the University, we are enabling the Strategy 2030 ambitions to be digitally agile, technology enabled and future-focused. As part of this we are transforming the University’s IT landscape, with a clear enterprise architecture, along with supporting standards, principles and practices. 

About you

You will provide administrative project support for the governance committees and delivery teams through careful planning, monitoring of progress and coordination of activity.

You will also be given the opportunity to coordinate a range of small to medium sized projects through the creation and maintenance of project plans/timetables and engagement with key stakeholders.

 You will have:

  • Excellent organisation and administrative skills.
  • Experience of working within large complex organisations and in particular IT Services.
  • An interest in pursuing a career in project management and delivery.

This is a full-time, permanent post, working 37 hours per week.

This post is available on a job share basis for applicants wishing to work part time.

UWE Bristol is a campus-based University, and it is vital to our success and the delivery of an outstanding experience for our students that our campuses are dynamic and vibrant places to learn and spend time. This role is therefore campus based for at least a day a week (arrangements depend on the project(s) you are working on), with the opportunity to work from home on the remaining days.
