£31406 to £40927 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Are you interested in the development of a hydrogen economy in the Midlands? Have you got the skills to manage our newly funded £5m programme which brings together academia, industry and the civic sectors to help catalyse the rapidly developing hydrogen activity in the region?

The role holder will join the HyDEX programme (see www.era.ac.uk/hydex) within the Energy Research Accelerator team, which is hosted by the University of Nottingham and is the largest energy innovation programme in the country. Reporting to the Project Director, the key objectives for this role is to ensure the effective management of the project. The role holder will manage the day to day running of the project, putting in place effective systems to ensure the smooth running and success of the overall programme.   They will work with the project team, particularly the work package leaders and the Principal Investigator and report into the ERA Programme Director. The role holder will be expected to travel across the Midlands to meet partners and stakeholders to deliver project activity. Some international travel may also be involved.

The role is fully funded by Research England.  It would particularly suit an individual with project management experience and/or understanding of the developing hydrogen economy. 

This full-time post will be offered on a fixed-term contract until 31st December 2024 (with possibility to extend subject to funding). Job share arrangements may be considered.
