Oxford Brookes Business School are currently recruiting for a full time Programme Portfolio Manager. 

As Programme Portfolio Manager you will be leading a team of Programme Administrators who provide comprehensive administrative support to the assigned programme portfolio (undergraduate programmes). You will be managing their workload, allocating tasks, undertaking performance management and recruitment and selection of new staff as required.  

You will design, develop, implement, administer and monitor administrative systems to provide a high quality student experience. 

You will oversee the provision of service for prospective and current students including, where relevant, recruitment, enrolment, induction and problem resolution. 

You will also take responsibility for faculty based elements of student recruitment and appropriate admissions procedures, student induction and student examination and progression. You will liaise with external partners where appropriate for related activities. 

You should have:

  • Supervisory responsibility for staff
  • A Levels or significant relevant experience
  • Significant demonstrable administrative experience; ability to work on own initiative
  • Team working experience; problem solving skills; excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and IT skills
  • Strong written and oral skills
  • Ability to draft concise notes and minutes from complex discussions
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with respect to staff and student information.
