The University of Oxford is seeking to appoint an outstanding scholar and teacher as Professor of Economics. This Professorship is held in the Department of Economics and the postholder will also be a Fellow of Nuffield College. This post offers the opportunity to take a leading role in enhancing economics research at Oxford and providing academic leadership in the discipline.

Oxford University is internationally recognised as being one of the very best institutions worldwide for the study of economics, and Nuffield College is dedicated to the pursuit of the social sciences, specializing in economics, politics and sociology.

You will be a scholar of international distinction with an outstanding record of research and publication in economics, and will be able to provide excellent teaching and mentoring for students and colleagues at all levels.

The closing date for applications is 12.00 noon on 27 April 2020.
