Reporting to Professor Jacob Dahl (Principal Investigator), the post holder will be a member of the research project ‘Toward Cuneiform Insights into the Dawn of the Anthropocene’.
The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the project, contributing to the design of research materials and arrangements for data-gathering, as well as analysing and presenting data. They will select, follow and adapt specialist research methodologies, undertake literature reviews, and contribute to the dissemination of research results.
The successful candidate will hold a relevant first degree, be working towards a doctorate, and will have sufficient specialist knowledge in the discipline of Assyriology to work within established research programmes. They will also have excellent communication skills in writing and presentation, and be able to manage their own research and administrative activities.
This position is based in central Oxford. This is a full-time, fixed-term position between May and December 2024.
