Applications are invited for an appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow at the Centre for Advancement in Inclusive and Special Education, Faculty of Education (Ref.: 524286), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) in Education, Psychology, or a related discipline. Preference will be given to those with experience in project(s) involving test construction and validation. Experience in conducting item response theory (IRT) analyses, confirmatory factor analyses (CFA), and other complex statistical analyses (SEM) would be highly desirable.

Applicants should be responsible, self-motivated, and able to work independently. They should also have good analytical skills and high proficiency in written and spoken English. Proficiency in Chinese will be an advantage.  

The appointee will work with the Principal Investigator(s) in managing a few research projects. Major duties include conducting critical literature review, advanced data analysis and manuscript preparation for projects related to talent identification. He/she is expected to work independently on data collection, management and analysis, project management, and mentoring of junior research staff members as well as other duties as assigned.
