Business Operations Administrator

This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Business Operations Administrator to provide assistance in the smooth running of business operations within the Patient Carer Community that forms part of the Faculty of Medicine & Health.  

Supporting administrative arrangements, you will work ensuring general administrative tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner. You will be required to develop and maintain key process documentation, arranging meetings and raising purchase order requests. As a proactive member of the business operations team, you will share good practice to continually improve processes, share workload amongst colleagues and provide cover for other team members across the faculty as required.  

You will have experience of systems and processes, gained in a customer service environment or in an administrative role. 

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse and dynamic team who are responsible for designing, delivering and assessing patient and carer led teaching in healthcare education. This role is an integral part of the international award winning team, and you will be helping to ensure its continued success nationally and internationally.

The Patient and Carer Community (PCC) is a large and expanding community of real patients, carers and their family members. They use their lived experience to teach students about the reality of living with a physical and/or mental health condition, helping students to understand and work with the patient/carer perspective.

The PCC work across a number of key areas such as communication and clinical skills both at undergraduate and postgraduate level, including the MBChB (Medicine), Physician Associate and Gateway to Medicine programmes. They are involved in student admissions right through to the final exams and graduation process.
