Programme Management Office (PMO) Analyst

Updated: 17 days ago
Location: Leeds, ENGLAND
Job Type: FullTime
Deadline: 25 Apr 2024

2 roles available - 1 ongoing role and 1 fixed term role for 12 months, both to commence from 1 June 2024

This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner.

We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

The University of Leeds has a new and ambitious strategic plan. You will join an influential team playing a pivotal role in supporting senior leaders across the University in the implementation and delivery of a transformational change programme through providing specialist PMO services.

As part of the Portfolio Office, you will be embedded in a Programme to implement and apply your knowledge of PMO activities for the benefit of a University strategic initiative, using your skills and experience to support the successful delivery of transformational change.

Reporting to the PMO Specialist, you will support the programme leadership as a central source of truth through the collation and analysis of programme information. This will be combined with advising on the consistent adoption of best practice standards and processes, tailoring as appropriate. In doing this you will work in close collaboration with the programme team and wider stakeholders, building effective working relationships at all levels and offering consultancy support.

With an ability to balance priorities, deal with complex project data and work consultatively with others, you will have the skills to organise and work to key milestones with limited supervision.

What we offer in return

  • 26 days holiday plus approx. 16 Bank Holidays/days that the University is closed by custom (including Christmas) – that’s 42 days a year!
  • Generous pension scheme options plus life assurance.
  • Health and Wellbeing: Discounted staff membership options at The Edge, our state-of-the-art Campus gym, with a pool, sauna, climbing wall, cycle circuit, and sports halls.
