The ResLifeBU programme plays a crucial role in helping first-year students at BU transition smoothly into university life, promoting personal growth, skill development, and positive wellbeing. We're looking for a creative and organised Marketing Coordinator to take our marketing and communication efforts to the next level, both online and offline. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about making a difference in students' lives and has a knack for managing and enhancing multi-media platforms to engage our audience effectively.

As a Marketing & Communications Supervisor, you'll lead the planning and execution of exciting marketing campaigns, ensuring our message reaches every corner of student accommodation through posters, flyers, and notice boards. You'll also be at the forefront of our digital presence, managing platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and more. Your role will involve developing innovative strategies to boost student interest and engagement with ResLifeBU.

You'll oversee a team of Event & Activities Coordinators and Resident Assistants, ensuring all marketing initiatives run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include monitoring attendance, managing Eventbrite tasks, coordinating marketing stands, and supporting event photographers. Budget management is also key, ensuring all activities are cost-effective and within specified targets.

Creating and analysing integrated marketing campaigns will be a big part of your role. You'll work with suppliers and stakeholders to deliver compelling content aligned with ResLifeBU’s core themes: Social, Wellbeing, and Skills. You’ll also be responsible for producing engaging video content for our YouTube channel and capturing live moments at ResLifeBU events for our social media platforms.

In addition to content creation, you'll produce and present detailed marketing analytics and reports, showcasing the impact of our efforts. Organising photoshoots and film sessions, managing written content for blogs and newsletters, and providing ongoing training for Resident Assistants will keep your days varied and exciting. You'll ensure all content aligns with BU brand guidelines and policies, contributing to a vibrant and cohesive student experience.
