SportBU is seeking an enthusiastic and pro-active team player to support the running of the 65 acre Chapel Gate site. Following significant investment in the facilities, the operational team is growing to help oversee the smooth operation of the site.

The postholder will act as a Duty Manager on a regular shift basis ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services and procedures at Chapel Gate to the wide range of BU and community teams/clubs that are based there. The post holder will work closely with the General Manger supporting the daily operational function whilst working with the wider SportBU team in looking at how income can be maximised and efficiencies created.

You will be experienced in working in multi-faceted leisure environments and have good knowledge of health & safety requirements.  You will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to be assertive when required and use your initiative and creativity to take advantage of business opportunities.

This position is available part-time for 30 hours per week.
