Salary:  Grade 7 £36,024 - £44,263 / Grade 8 £45,585 - £56,021

We are seeking a talented individual to augment our current staffing profile with a private lawyer who can teach Scots private law, broadly conceived.

The Appointee will generate research of international excellence and will co-ordinate and teach undergraduate (and, as required and appropriate, postgraduate) classes in relevant subject areas. They will contribute to the collegial, supportive and energetic research culture in the School.

Candidates should have a PhD (or equivalent) in an appropriate discipline, be able to demonstrate a body of published work in high quality publications and have an ability to secure research funding. Candidates should also possess relevant teaching experience and have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
