About the Role

This role is an indefinite Lecturer post for a qualified individual who will contribute to the research field of Cardiovascular Pharmacology with a strong connection to the research of The Vascular Pharmacology Group at The Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry. The Lecturer will also contribute to the intellectual life of the William Harvey Research Institute and wider. They will make contributions to student education and experience through delivery of teaching activities in the subject area of Pharmacology generally and Cardiovascular Pharmacology.

About You

This role is suitable for an individual with a Biomedical Sciences degree (minimum 2:1 grade equivalent) and a PhD. The latter must be specifically in the field of cardiovascular research and or pharmacology. You will be an enthusiastic committed researcher seeking to embark upon an independent research academic career.  You need to be willing to contribute some of your time to teaching.

The Centre for Cardiovascular Medicine and Devices has been created to bridge the gap between academics and clinicians in their endeavor to innovate in translational medicine.
