Applications are invited for a 5 year post of a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering within UCD School of Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering.

The UCD School of Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering has a long and distinguished track record of achievement. The School delivers an undergraduate programme in Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering (originally established as Chemical Engineering in 1952), accredited by the IChemE, as well as taught Master's programme in Chemical engineering and in Biopharmaceutical Engineering and is host to a vibrant graduate research programme. The School wishes to appoint a Lecturer in Chemical/Bioprocess Engineering. The successful candidate will be expected to establish an international reputation in their area of research; to contribute to lecturing and project supervision at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and to participate in administration within the School.

Applicants with research interests aligned with one or more of the School's research priorities: Bio/pharmaceutical Engineering, Energy conversion & Storage Technologies; Materials Design & Interfaces and Process Engineering are invited to apply.

95 Lecturer/Assistant Professor (above the bar) Salary Scale: €54,849 - €87,724 per annum

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
