£19209 to £22254 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

We are inviting applications for a HR Recruitment Assistant (Onboarding) to join our friendly HR Team. 

As part of the recruitment team, you will be a point of contact for recruitment related queries from managers, candidates, and colleagues and as such you will need to be able to communicate confidently with key stakeholders at all levels to ensure quality customer service at all times. 

Your main responsibilities day to day will be working with staff within the University, providing consistent support to hiring managers and candidates guiding them through offers and contracts of employment. You will manage queries through to resolution and ensure that all employment checks are met in order for a candidate to start work. You will be responsible for issuing offers and contracts of employment, managing pre-employment and new starter checks and ensuring that they are completed in a timely manner in line with pre-agree service level agreements.  

You will have the ability to confidently use IT packages (such as Microsoft Office) and have experience dealing with customers. Due to the nature of the role, you will need to have an ability to prioritise tasks efficiently, work in a team, and evidence your good written and communication skills. 

This is a permanent, full time role (36.25 hours per week). Arrangements for job share would be considered.
