Full Time (35 Hours per week)

The Finance Report Developer will use Oracle reporting tools to create and maintain a suite of financial reports for use across the University to assist the business in implementing best practice solutions that support academic management decision making. The Finance Report Developer will work with the Report Development Manager to provide advice to schools/departments with reporting policy, guidance on reporting/analysis tools, communication and training. 

The Opportunity: 

An excellent opportunity to join a newly formed Finance Reporting Team to support the planning, development and delivery of enhanced financial reports across The University of Edinburgh based in Charles Stewart House, Edinburgh.

Your Skills and Attributes for Success: 

  • Professionally qualified/relevant degree or experience. 
  • Experience of report creation using Oracle tools including Oracle OTBI, BI Publisher, Finance Reporting Studio, Smartview and SQL.
  • Experience working with data, financial analysis, higher education sector accounting, and/or budgetary planning/management.
